Collins Correctional
Endwell, New York
Collins correctional saw a renovation of the main kitchen as a result of an evaluation of the kitchen flow and need for continuous feeding of inmates. The renovation brought updates to the walk-in cooler / freezer as well as all cooking, cooling, preparation and serving equipment along with the dish room.
This project was designed in conjunction with standards set by the New York State Office of General Services.
Greene Correctional
Coxsackie, New York
Greene Correctional saw the need for a complete renovation of the main kitchen. Throughout construction, phasing during this period was necessary due to the need for maintaining continuous feeding to the population. Mess Hall C was utilized as a temporary kitchen during reconstruction of the main kitchen, service counters and scullery. All new equipment was then installed in the renovated space.
This project was designed in conjunction with standards set by the New York State Office of General Services.
Wende Correctional
Alden, New York
Wende Correctional required a complete renovation of the main kitchen, walk-in refrigeration and loading dock. Given the need for continuous feeding of the inmates a portion of Mess Hall A was utilized for a temporary kitchen during the construction of the main kitchen facility.
A temporary loading dock was required to meet cooler, freezer and dry storage requirements. Cooler / freezer needs for this operation required increasing the amount of storage and centralizing the location. All new equipment was then installed in the renovated space.
